I dont know, but maybe there is already a modifacion about this.
I coulndt find any so i made myself the modifaction, i call it modifaction cuz you dont need to put any extra code in your cgi's and its very simple (just finding the code converting < and > is enough)

Here we go

We need only one cgi to make modifaction and that is ubbmisc.cgi the modifaction is made within 2 steps

Step 1
Find in ubbmisc.cgi


Replace with


Step 2
Find next


Replace with


Thats it!

Ofcourse you can delete whole line with # before in my code but its easy if you want to go back to not allowing HTML in the sigs, you just delete # before de code and your users cant post with HTML in their sig.

Think twice before using this litle modifaction cuz it also puts an security problem in your board. (HTML can be nasty)

About Html images: my users still can use images with ubb but you are right if someone wants to allow Html images as signature on their board doing this is enought:
